How good were the conditions for Round 2 of Adelaide Golf Crew’s Race to Mount Compass GolfCourse. A couple of late withdraws had a field of 28 take on the short but difficult Echunga Golf Course. For the second event in a row the first hole was a difficult one with the hardest hole on the course awaiting us. It was great to see a majority of the field hang around, enjoying a beer to cool off and rehydrate outside the clubhouse for presentations. Unlike round one this was a close one until the end, Maddie James Whittington set the mark early with 34 points, but was over run to finish T6. In the end was Raphael Jose who edged out Alex Bray and Greg Marks by 2 points, to claim his maiden W on 39 stableford points.
